At some point, we have to stop the merry-go-around of life and sort ourselves out. Take a reality moment that allows us to see where we have been, where we are, and assess where we want to go and if we are on the path that will take us there.

It’s mind blowing how long we will travel down the wrong road in life, knowing it’s the wrong road. But the logic is the same as people who drive somewhere they’ve never been and end up lost. Instead of stopping, reassessing, or asking directions, there is this irrational part of the brain that advises that if you just keep driving, eventually you’ll figure out where you are….or somehow mysteriously end up where you’re suppose to be. It never seems rational in hindsight, but always seems logical at the time!

When I had my children in the car and we would be driving and end up someplace unexpected, they would ask me “Mom, are we lost?” And I would always answer “No, we are not lost we just don’t know exactly where we are, you are always someplace”. Being someplace we weren’t suppose to be ended up creating some of the most interesting adventures that we ever had. (Keep in mind this was all before the day of mapquest and GPS *smile*)

And that philosophy works when you are just tooling around not in a hurry to get anywhere….but if you have a precise destination and a time frame that needs to be adhered to, constantly going in the wrong direction, ending up miles from where you’re suppose to be, and always starting over can be frustrating and get you nowhere.

The Internet is like that for most people who just show up looking for a way to create income for themselves. Showing up empty handed and clueless can turn into a disaster really fast because there is no shortage of people, websites, businesses, products or services…all telling you they are your answer for getting where you want to go. It’s like a child showing up in a candy store with a buck in their hand, and looking around at the 10,000 different varieties of candy they can spend it on.

The process of making money on the Internet, and again we are talking about life-changing income, not chump change,…starts BEFORE you ever access the world wide web. And of course the biggest hurdle in that truth, is that most people have to come to the Internet before they discover it. And unfortunately it ends up buried within the barrage of information, advice, experts, guru’s, and courses that all promise them they can be wealthy without bringing anything of themselves to the table. Starting the process without a clue what you are looking for will take you down an entirely different path then the one you were looking for when you came online. Showing up clueless, leaves your dreams at the mercy of others to make it come true. And the odds of that happening fall into the same category as winning the lottery.

Following a passion always serves others first, and in return, our own dreams are realized.

The reason success is not the cake-walk everyone wishes it would be, is because the road to success was never meant to be easy, it was meant to be a worthy journey in light of the prize at the end.

We all want to be told we DONT have to pay the price for what we want in life,…that rather for the RIGHT price, we can simply have it handed to us.

Why we continue to set ourselves up for the inevitable let-down when that miracle pill, magic formula, secret cracked code or wonder drug doesn’t work, is irrational! *smile* They say the reason mankind dominates the earth is because of our brains,…but lets be frank – when you look at scenarios like that, you have to wonder. Don’t we all know better by now??

The most valuable gift we have in life is “Choice”….the ability to make a choice. To speak something and make it happen, to believe something and make it so, to have the power to change things and make it a reality. There are consequences to everything in life,…including NOT doing the things we know we should.

Not starting that diet and exercise plan when you know you should…keeps you fat and uncomfortable.
Not starting the fitness regime that you promised yourself you would…keeps you unhealthy.
Not taking the time to lay the groundwork, and do the hard work of success,….keeps you poor and unhappy.

Quick fixes, magic pills and instant wealth are the placebos in life that keep you from succeeding.

Remember, if you feel like where you are in life is not totally your fault,…once you know that change is necessary to create the results that you want, you must make a commitment to yourself today to make those changes.

No matter where you are today, every day provides you with the opportunity to make NEW choices that create NEW beginnings, that lead to NEW endings.

But regardless of what I THOUGHT I knew,…or was thinking,…as an adult subconsciously I was linking money to “pain” and “unhappiness”. so naturally, just like an example T. Harv gives, I was getting rid of money as fast as I could in order to avoid the pain of it!

Weird huh? How you can actually THINK you know better….and be acting on your subconscious mind instead of the obvious.

TIME is one of our greatest commodities nowadays. Moments of “nothingness” are almost non-existent, technology has seen to it that we are instantly accessible -  no matter what we are doing or where we are. Setting time aside to do something is a planned event, it doesn’t just happen…and if you wait until you ‘aren’t busy’,  to accomplish whatever it is you hope to do, it will never get done. So sure,…you are busy, your time is limited, and there is a list of ‘to do’s” just waiting for you – if you can spare a moment. But while the rush of moving from one thing to the next is going on, so is ‘time’. Days turn into weeks, weeks into months, and months into years, and one day you slow down long enough to notice and say “Where has the time gone?”

Whatever it is you want, wherever it is you want to go in ife, you can be sure of one thing -  it won’t just magically happen, it will only come to be through your INTENTIONAL actions.

What’s funny  – is how many of us can read a statement like that, know implicitly its truth, and then go right back to doing whatever we were doing, never altering our actions or taking the deliberate steps to make our dreams come true.

The majority of people reach up, take their dreams off the shelf and dust them off, whenever their realities become challenging. Whenever the struggles of life get intense, whenever they need to touch something  that gives life more meaning than the day to day battle for survival. Their dreams serve as little more than a placebo to get them by.

We are all guilty of that behavior it is just a matter of how long we continue it before changing something, if ever.

I believe our dreams are GIFTS that are presented to our soul at birth, and we have a life time to discover them, unwrap them, embrace them, and live the joy of them. Sadly, most never will. Your dreams are in constant competition with the moment to moment bombardment of everything else that demands your time and attention, those things that seemingly can’t wait.

You experience “moments” of clarity in life where you are “reminded” of your dreams existence. In those moments, unless you take deliberate action to hold tight to them and pull them from the world of non-existence into a world of reality, they will simply disappear under the surface of life’s busyness once again.

Wherever you are in life now, however old you are, whatever circumstances surround you, no matter how far away your dreams seem,…providence only asks one thing of you -  that you start. That you start walking one step at a time, one foot in front of the other,  in the direction of your dreams. That you start doing daily the small, seemingly irrelevant in the scope of things actions…that move you closer and closer to where you desire to be, to where you want to go.  That you be committed to setting aside some of the busyness that consumes you today, for the pursuit of living the dreams of tomorrow.

There is no way to get away from the fact that it’s going to take more than just a business, a product, or a service to access the success you desire in life. Success interact with every aspect of our lives,..the mental, the physical, the verbal and the soulful.

You can’t avoid it, to achieve success in life,….you have to take the time to succeed.

I will be honest with you,..yesterday I sat and wrote and deleted this information at least 30 times,…and ended up NOT POSTING anything…lamenting over the best way, the most effective way, to tell you what you need to know. It never occurred to me the reason I wasn’t where I wanted to be… had nothing to do with how hard I worked, dreamed, or believed,…but because something much deeper was taking precedence…my internal Money Blueprint was in control…not my outward actions. It wasn’t until I dealt with my sub-conscious MONEY BLUEPRINT that I started to attract the money I had been repelling.

So here’s the deal -
100% of you HAVE your own money blueprint stored in the back of your mind. Is it working for you, or against you? Is it attracting, or repelling the wealth you desire? Are you feeling like you are doing everything you can to create the life you want, but still not seeing it happen?

Here’s what we know,….no matter how effective, how relevant, or how amazing the information is that we share with you is for creating wealth for yourself online,  without the right money blueprint, it won’t get you any further ahead than you are now.

And there is nothing comfortable about not having enough of it, but here’s something you can take to the bank,…you will N-E-V-E-R have enough, as long as your focus is only on your immediate monetary needs and not on how you can increase your value as a human being – in order to attract more money to you. And all the stuff that sounds like ‘psycho-babble’  – is really the key to creating the kind of money that allows you to realize your dreams.

Now it’s perfectly logical for you to ask,...“Okay, let’s say I accept that, HOW exactly does that work?”

I don’t want to gloss over yesterdays post where we asked you: “What Do You Consider To Be The Most Interesting Thing In The World?”…because it is just too important when it comes to your success in life.

If you’re like me when I first read that question years ago, your mind immediately started making a list of all the extraordinary tangible things you could think of…places, people, topics, etc., or, you immediately thought of things like Mr. Prevette referred to in his book, love, nature, art, etc..

I’m sure the number of us whose thoughts went to “ourselves” as the most interesting thing in the world, was far and few between! Probably because when we think about that question, we conjure up thoughts of ‘external’ things…and unless the people around you are constantly telling you…‘you’re the most interesting person in the world‘…your natural inclination was to think of anything, but you!

But hopefully, once you read the thoughts that followed the question, they made you stop in your tracks, and consider “YOU”. We get so wrapped up in the external part of our lives, that it’s easy to lose “YOU” in the process. We define ourselves according to who others need us to be,…and spend our time fulfilling those roles. Then before you know it, you come to a place in life where everyone else is out living their life, and you’re sitting there trying to remember who you are without them to define you. (that is the first-hand voice of experience talking)

This is important to understand! – by being all things to all people EXCEPT YOURSELF you not only rob yourself of the JOY of  living the extraordinary life possible for you,…you literally rob those closest to you, that you love, of the opportunity to live and experience it also.

My daughter was out of the house and my son was 16 when I was 40-years-old. Through a series of events, I ended up traveling overseas, it was my first experience going outside the borders of the USA. (Another story for another time) When I came back 4 months later, I came back with a higher purpose, a mission in life as I was offered a position to be an International Liaison/Spokesperson between the US and Europe and an Institute in Nepal. The Institute brought children destined to die in the villages they were born into in the mountains..to Kathmandu and provided them with boarding and an education. I was so excited. I had put so much of myself in those around me for years, and it felt like I was finally taking a step forward for ME!

Two months later, my daughter had twin daughters, and due to yet another series of events,….my role as International Liaison evaporated into thin air…as I accepted the role instead of becoming a “full-time mom”…..again…to my granddaughters.

I won’t tell you I didnt feel sorry for myself for a while, even though “I” made a conscious choice to do it as opposed to having them put into the foster system. That was never even a choice for me. I knew I was doing the right thing, but once again, my life was filled with what OTHERS needed from me, and I put myself back on hold.

I am an adamant reader and believer in developing ourselves as people,…but it wasn’t until one day when one of my 5-year-old granddaughters were talking to me…THAT IT HIT ME! She had big dreams too because her grandma taught her too…and by not focusing on MY dreams in life, I was also stifling hers! The unlimited potential within me, could be a stepping stone for her own dreams! I wasn’t just keeping myself back, I was keeping everyone I loved around me back, from living the extraordinary life that was possible ‘through me’.

Failing to make yourself one of your priorities in life, to ignore or set aside your obligation to YOU to improve and develop yourself daily, doesn’t just effect you. By not becoming FULLY the person you are capable of being, you deny MANY lives of their full potential also, lives that needed your extraordinary life to influence and change theirs.

There is NOTHING EASY about fitting YOU into YOUR life - a life consumed with responsibilities, duties and obligations to others,…but THIS is it, THIS IS your life, and if you don’t pay attention to it, if you don’t make YOU a priority, it will be done and over with before you know it, and you will will feel bad not only for what you did not give yourself, but because you never gave those you love what you hoped for either. That does not happen by accident, it is a deliberate intent, followed by conscious, calculated, purposeful ACTION.

YOU NEED TO BE THE MOST INTERESTING THING IN THE WORLD TO “YOU”. That doesn’t mean you neglect others, it means you don’t neglect YOU.

Remember – you don’t even know what you are capable of yet! You won’t know that until you start to dig, that’s when you discover the HIDDEN resources and latent abilities buried within your potential that you didn’t even know existed.

Focus on taking the time to become the most interesting thing to YOU…it is a journey that ends up being a win-win for you and everyone around you!

Let me ask you a question -
“What do you consider the most interesting thing in the world is?”

Think about that a moment,…off the top of your head,…what comes to mind? WHAT IS the most interesting thing in the world to you?

I was reading a book I’ve read a few times before and I was reminded of that question.  I thought about the first time that question was presented to me several years ago, and what my answer was. Did you come up with yours yet??

The book was written in 1949,  it never ceases to amaze me the way books written 50 – 100 years ago are completely relevant for this day and age, it’s because there are certain foundational principles and truths in life that never change, regardless of how much time passes.

SO what is your answer? WHAT do you consider the MOST interesting thing in the world??

Now let me ask you something else,…did you think of “YOU”? That YOU are the most interesting thing in the world??

Let me share an excerpt from the book with you:

Some years ago I was instrumental in sending out a questionnaire to several hundred leading people throughout the country, whose activities covered every phase of human endeavor. Some said life; some said love; some said nature; some said religion; some said art; some said sculpture; some said education; some said science, and some said business. Seldom do you appreciate what you are or what you are capable of doing. It must come from some outside source. You take yourself too much as a matter of fact. You have not taken time to take stock of yourself, to analyze your capacities, to realize fully your strength and power, and really to discover what a wonderful creature you are, nor to uncover the latent forces and abilities you possess. You forget that: “Ye are the salt of the earth.” “Ye are the Light of the World.” You forget that you are the most wonderful thing that God ever created. You fail to remember that Mind and its ideas have dominion over the earth and all things in it, making you the Master.

You must be reminded that it is You who can think, who can comprehend, who can co-ordinate, who can analyze and visualize, who can imagine and dramatize, and see a completed thing from the blue print. You merely take as a matter of course that it is You who invent, discover and build the marvelous things around you. It is You who harnesses the forces of nature and turns those forces into light, power and heat, to make the world comfortable. It is You who can mix ideas with natural resources and turn them into economic values, to be enjoyed by all. It is You who have the faith, the vision, the determination and the courage to turn your ability into cash, and to plant ideas that will not only enrich your life but also that will make America a better nation–a better place in which to live.

You lose sight of yourself through the mass of things you create. You get lost among your own things. You must come out in the open and make yourself known.

The most undeveloped field in this country, the richest mine that you will ever know anything about, lies right under your hat–right above your collar. At this very moment this great mine is waiting for you to develop it. What it will yield, what it will produce, nobody knows, not even you. You will never know the unlimited resources at your command until you begin to dig into them. By searching you will discover hidden powers and latent abilities that you never thought existed. By digging you will uncover droughts and ideas that will not only enrich your pocketbook, but also that will fill your life with a fuller and deeper appreciation. By sifting, you will see an infinite variety of opportunities. A new world with untold wealth will be revealed to you. Things that you never dreamed of. You will have a fuller, richer and more beautiful life.
